This website ("the site") is the personal portfolio of Abdul Hadi Rabbi. This policy describes how the site handles your information. In short: it collects as little as possible, never sells your data, and only uses what you send to reply to you.
1. Information I collect
- Contact form details — when you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message (and optionally a subject and the service you're interested in). This is only collected when you choose to send it.
- Theme preference — your light/dark choice is stored in your own browser's
localStorage. It never leaves your device and is not sent to me. - Basic server logs — like most websites, the hosting server may automatically record standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability. These are managed by the hosting provider.
The site does not use advertising cookies or invasive tracking scripts.
2. How your information is used
Contact-form details are used solely to read your message and reply to your inquiry. Your theme preference is used only to remember how you like the site to look. That's it — no profiling, no resale, no marketing lists.
3. Third-party services
- Web3Forms — the contact form is delivered to my email through Web3Forms. Your submission passes through their service to reach me. See their privacy terms for details.
- Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
4. Data retention & security
Messages you send are kept in my email only as long as needed to handle your request or our working relationship, and are then deleted. Reasonable technical measures (including HTTPS and security headers) are in place to protect the site, though no method of transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure.
5. Your rights
You may ask what information I hold about you, request a correction, or ask me to delete your message from my inbox. To do so, email md.abdul.hadi.rabbi@gmail.com and I'll act on it promptly.
6. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
